This book was fine, but I struggled to care about the characters or the plot. This just wasn't a book for me, and I was too stubborn to DNF.

I think I would have rated this book higher if it was more forthcoming on what it was about. The first half seems like a questionable romance whereas the second half is an extreme mental health journey that is worrying and unsettling.

This was an OK book to listen to, a very obvious Romeo & Juliet story. Ridley's anxiety was very annoying to listen to even if it can be like this.

I did like the hopeful ending and how the protagonists are actively working on themselves

Genuinely mature take on teen mental health with realistic outcomes. I rooted for the characters all the time. This book had way more depth than I thought it would, and I enjoyed it

I think this book was marketed wrong. This is not a light and funny romcom about to queer teens, serious topics, about mental health, parental neglect, queerphobia are present on nearly every page. The story is good, and it’s a fresh take on the Romeo and Juliet storyline. I don’t see myself reading this again.
