BECAUSE PATRICK NESS ALWAYS GETS FIVE STARS.

Seriously, this book made me gasp in awe and yell in disbelief and constantly have to share the new twists with my partner. I love the melding of the afterlife and physical reality vs. virtual reality and that I still had no idea what the hell actually went on when I finished the book. It left me with so many thoughts, and I can't recommend this book enough. Patrick Ness, you continue to astound me.

What an emotional rollercoaster! This book follows the story of a male lead who discovered that… he’s dead? Or is he not? Such an unusual but interesting premise. I enjoyed the writing style too, v refreshing as it’s unlike the other books that I read. Would love to explore more of Patrick Ness’ works!

Quite psychological indeed. Ness’ style of writing is provocative and deeply layered for a young adult author. The journey Seth goes on is complex yet familiar. It’s an interesting read.

I have no idea what I just read. I have no idea how to write a review of a book like this. I have no idea where to begin. But one thing I learned about Patrick Ness is this: he is a genius and I am going to read anything he writes from now on.

“Whatever the world looks like now, that’s not how it’s always going to look. There’s more. There’s always more.”

This book was fantastic. The characters, right from the protagonist to the most minor ones, were perfect. The story was emotional, the plot was gripping and intense, the ending was fabulous and the writing style was really engaging, drawing me into its world and not letting me go.

This book, by all means, is very unconventional. It might test your patience as a reader, but it is all worth it. Everything is totally unpredictable here, and the minute you start guessing, things just go haywire. It’s one of those books that you need to completely read if you want to know its true meaning. In fact, the book does not reveal anything till the second half, filling your head with questions, half of which would probably remain unanswered till the end. But again, it is all worth it, because that is the point of the book. There has to more than this, more than you have read in the book.

The best way to read this is to dive headlong into it without knowing anything. And no matter how many people read this, no one will ever read the same More Than This. As Ness writes,” Just know yourself, and go in swinging.”
