I was very confused about what kind of book this was. I bought it because Google play had the rebook on sale and it had good reviews. From the description it sounded a lot like [a:Jenny Han|151371|Jenny Han|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1284428061p2/151371.jpg]'s Summer series, which I really enjoyed. I thought this book was going to be YA. Boy, was I wrong! I guess if I had to describe it, I'd say it's a cross between [b:The Summer I Turned Pretty|5821978|The Summer I Turned Pretty (Summer, #1)|Jenny Han|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1361666855s/5821978.jpg|5994018] and [b:Fifty Shades of Grey|10818853|Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1)|E.L. James|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1358266215s/10818853.jpg|15732562] (I assume, since I've never read it ).
I was actually just reading in a magazine the other day about a new genre called "New Adult" and that's what I felt like this was: YA, but with sex scenes. The language in this was a bit much I thought; a lot of profanity for the sake of profanity. And, the author didn't do much for the Southern stereotype, which I was surprised by, since she's from the South herself. The bad grammar really bothered me. And seriously, do gigolos actually exist in real life? I'm sure they do, but it just didn't feel believable here.
In the end, not the worst book ever, but I kind of wish I hadn't paid money for it, even if it was only $2.

I loved loved Preston, he is soo HOT!! this book is amazing my favorite of the Sea Breaze series so far. I read it really fast, i just couldn't put it down. Abbi Glines write is like always awesome.
I highly recommend Just for Now.

Not bad. Still finding so many typos & punctuation/editing issues - it's a little annoying. Classic Abbi Glines story, romantic, a bit erotic - nice&easy to read. Two of my more favorite characters in this series. Overall - it was good.
Sometimes, ok maybe all the time, Abbi makes it seem like girls don't have a choice in the matter of who they can be with. When there's a girl who sleeps guys every weekend at Live Bay, or goes to all of Jackdown's shows - she is slut or a groupie. When a dude does the same thing - he's a playboy who supports local music acts.
This is why I didn't have very high expectations for this installment of the Sea Breeze series (not that I have ever had high expectations of any Abbi Glines novel). A romance between the 'innocent' Amanda and the 'playboy' Preston, her brother's best friend, was bound to be painful to read. But Abbi surprised me and wrote a fairly decently-layer book (in comparison to the rest of her catalog). I won't get into it but this was one of the rare times I was rooting for the relationship and there was barely any Cage references and even a death so I was extra generous and gave it 2 stars. Mild improvement Abbi!

Wow. So this is it. The Sea Breeze series is over.
I have to admit, I was a little miffed that I didn't get to witness Marcus and Low's wedding (I think the readers deserve to know!). And the ending was a bit hurried and unresolved. But since I've grown to love the gang, I think I'll take what I can get.
I'm really really really wishing for a Sea Breeze television show. Like something One Tree Hill or Gossip Girl-ish. You know, the show centering around one location (Sea Breeze) and one set of friends.
My favorite guy would probably be Dewayne. Nah I'm kidding (though he's the smartest one in the group. He seems to know exactly what was happening before anyone else) but my favorite would definitely be Cage. As for the female, my favorite would be Willow because well, she's Willow and she's awesome like that.
I'M GOING TO MISS THE SEA BREEZE GANG!

I seriously loved this book. Amanda and Preston were awesome especially Preston he is one of my favorite guys.
Read in less than 12 hours ... I just couldn't put it down, love this author.
Love this book.... I accidentally read it out of series order BUT whatever. It was still amazig and I'm totally hooked. Can't wait to go back a read all the other Sea Breeze stories.
I just wasn't as obsessed with Amanda and Preston as I have been with the other couples in this series. I did love seeing Preston's back story and family, but I just wouldn't have put him and Amanda together.
