Dual POV is killing me. Mostly because of how much NA I've read in the past two weeks.

This is probably by far one of my favorite books by Abbi glines. I love Preston drake. He just seems to desirable. I loved the connection they both had, and how they couldn't stay away from one another. Perfect example of sexual chemistry. I could see myself as Amanda who would do anything for someone she loved like she went for prestons siblings to protect them.
I just don't get the crazy over this book. It was a fine read...nothing that I feel like shouting on the rooftops about.
Amanda and Preston's Novel.
This was my least favorite of the Sea Breeze novels. Amanda is Marcus's sister, and she is in love with Preston has been since she was 16. Preston plays baseball with Cage and is a ladies man literally. A gigolo is his chosen profession, not because he wants to, but because he has to. He needs to know that his younger siblings are cared for, as his mother is in no position to do that. A drug addict who really doesn't care about her children's welfare.
Quick read, and while I enjoy the series, I had a hard time with Amanda and Preston's relationship. I don't think it's something I would get over so easy. Finding out your boyfriend has sex for money.

Preston Drake was a character that didn't really make a great impression in my mind. He made a few appearances in the first three books as either comic relief or a playboy so when I saw that the fourth installment in the Sea Breeze series was going to be his story and Amanda the girl he falls for. I was immediately hooked when I began reading and I fell in love with Preston as well! It broke my heart to read about the life Preston had not only growing up with his horrible mother but the life he has as an adult in order to support his younger siblings and make sure they have a better childhood than he does. I'm glad everything worked out better for both Preston and his siblings. I do hope that in the next book we learn how Amanda's mother is dealing with her and Preston's relationship since I felt the book ended before that obstacle was resolved. Amanda and Preston have become one of my favorite couples of the Sea Breeze series and I'm looking forward to the next book!

Esta serie en serio hace difícil escoger a alguno de estos chicos como mi 'favorito'. Mientras estaba leyendo la historia de Preston y Manda, recordé lo mucho que amaba a ambos personajes, así como su historia.
Preston Drake es un hombre mujeriego al que la vida no ha tratado amablemente. A su edad ya sabe lo que es que alguien dependa de ti, ya que sus tres hermanos se encuentran al cuidado de su nada competente madre y él tiene que hacerse cargo de todo.
Sin embargo, la cantidad de dinero que Preston necesita para esto no se obtiene fácilmente, y no encuentra otra salida más que la de ser un gigoló.
Mientras que por otra parte, Amanda es una niña rica de corazón y ojos amables que no sabe lo peligroso que puede ser querer estar a lado de alguien como Preston, quien además, es el mejor amigo de su muy sobreprotector hermano, Marcus Hardy.
La química entre ambos se siente en el primer instante y mientras que a mí me hubiera gustado tener más vistazos del enamoramiento de Amanda de libros pasados, la verdad es que Just for Now, es uno de los libros que más disfruto de la serie.
No sé si solo soy yo, pero sentí una gran diferencia de la Amanda de Breathe a la que se plasma aquí. Creo que Abbi vio el potencial en el personaje, algo más que una niña boba y consentida que se sorprende fácilmente por una estrella de rock *coff, coff, Jax*.
Una de las cosas que más disfruté fueron las escenas con los hermanos de Preston. Me gusta la relación que Amanda tiene con los niños, y fui la persona más feliz del mundo cuando Trisha y Rock los adoptan.
El lindo recuerdo que tengo con respecto a la serie Sea Brezee no le hace justicia a la realidad. Es una serie que tiene un lugar muy especial en mi corazón y me alegra mucho haber tomado la decisión de volver a leerla.

When I first heard about Just for Now, I was so anxious to read it because I want to know more about Amanda and Preston. And when I was reading it, I can't even put the friggin' book (I mean KIndle) down. I even have a weird grin on my face while I was reading it becasue I find the lead characters sweet (and hot, especially Preston). And now I'm rereading it so I can fall in love with the Preston and Amanda story again.
