Excellent story. Gordon Doherty did it again! It ended far too soon. I will definitely be reading the next book in this series. I've read all three in this series and I can honestly say I was never in the least bit disappointed. Good job!

A teaser. The book ends immediately when something shocking is revealed. That means I am already hooked for book #5 in the series, if there will be a next one.

Kind of hokey with another slew of near-death experiences and miraculous escapes. And a bit inconsistent in places.

But just too good a tale to not get the full 5 stars.

There's some decent closure here. I hope Gordon leaves this as an end so I can enjoy a long-delayed dive back into his Hittite series.

This was quite a ride. Characters were reasonably developed, and the story was swift and smart (maybe with an exception of one or two very improbable escapes). Also, I really appreciate the cautious way the author deals with historical facts and details. Very nice addition to the series & looking forward to the next book!

I really enjoyed reading this story and could not put it down. Great action and adventure with some wonderful storytelling. Now going to start on the second book in the series
