I enjoyed the banter between Declan and Sloane. Sometimes I had to practically draw a diagram to accurately picture the positions there were supposed to be in...and a few times I think they were described in positions that aren't possible. It was nice to imagine Sloane being as unphased by everything that she encountered...obviously unrealistic. Regardless, still an entertaining read.

I am loving this series! The banter and tension between these two are next level. I love the spitfire that Sloane is and gives him Declan a run for his money! Can’t wait to read the next one
Its sooo childish it's crazy, they talk like teenagers.
2nd read 1/20/24. Up until 83% of this book, I was wondering why the heck I gave it 5 stars. It's good, maybe even very good and then at 82% ish it gets great! Love Sloan. My only slight is the overuse of the word gangster. It's annoying!
