I loved the banter SO much between Sloan and Declan. Because of that, I was okay with the slow burn and waiting for them to just get together already! It made it much more believable when they finally did confess their feelings. And it's even better that Sloan is a kick ass heroine. And Declan was funny too! He kept up with Sloan's antics.

4/5 "THE BANTER!" stars. I liked this one way more than the first book. It had a more cohesive tone and I really liked the heroine, Sloane. I believed in how the romance developed. Like the last book, it was super steamy. I still don't think 'mafia romances" are going to be my favorite trope/subgenre but this book is one of the better one's I've read so far.
Romance satisfaction —❤️ ❤️ ❤️
