I considered giving this book less stars because the story made me so angry and frustrated. And then I realized *that's a good thing*. It's good to be angry and frustrated over injustice, even if it is fictional. And if a fictional book can make you reevaluate your own reaction to the real life injustices around you, then it's doing its job.

This was GOOD. Like, I finished it and then started on the sequel good (thankfully, I had both from the library at home, go me!).

more like a 2.5 coz' I am not sure I completely liked it. I mean I liked it because it was an interesting premise, but I think it lacked context. I would have loved a history lesson on the whole "flawed system" and it would've helped me enjoy the story more.

I liked the insight into Celestine's life, I found her struggle quite believable.
I did NOT like the fast pace, some things should've taken more time. And I also did not like the "plot twists" all of them were so predictable I was never surprised by stuff happening that should've surprised me.

I think that is it. I'm not sure I want to read the next one, I don't know if I'm that interested in it.

Oh my GOSH!! I Loved this book!! Ahern really knows how to write a story! You can definitely relate to Celestine and cheer her on as she steps out and questions the issues she finds in the world!!

Totally disappointed with Cecelia Ahern for this book... The world wasn't fully developed, the flawed system was terrible, people were awful, it was hard to empathize with the main character... I could go on and on but I'll stop before fully writing a rant here. Usually her books make laugh and cry and I always chose one of her books for a pick me up, because they always make me feel good (except for the year I met you which was meh), but this dystopian book made want to throw the book so hard against the wall... I didn't do it because it's my iPad...

Not my favourite Cecilia Ahern book, but still an enjoyable dystopian YA.

Really interesting concept, took a little time to get into but once I was in, I couldn’t put it down.

There was one part that really annoyed me because it was just so obvious that it was a trap, and I don’t know how Celestine didn’t see that a mile off!

Also, feel like it’s obvious to the reader where the video is - but maybe I’m wrong! Guess I’ll find out in the next one!
