When one dumbass meets another dumbass meets another dumbass meets another dumbass and they all fall in luuurrrvvvv.

4 stars for vibes. This was cringe and silly and spicy and I could not put it down. The plot was about an 1/8th of these 500+ pages and sometimes the crow brain wants what it wants.

My only real question is WHO WAS WATCHING THE DOG ALL THOSE TIMES CALEB WAS GONE OR BUSY?! (Other than Harrison ONE NIGHT on page 430 something.

Oof. This book was so bad. I ended up hate reading it from about 1/4 in.

The premise was interesting and I was drawn in by the claims of representing a poly relationship and being queer-and-kink-friendly. None of those things are true. It's written more like erotica-Mary Sue wish fulfillment fanfiction than any kind of thoughtful story.

I'll be honest, I didn't come in with high expectations, the title says it all. However, I was expecting slightly better than this absolute mess. The relationships are all Insta-love and feel forced. The "kink-friendly" claim is upsetting given it portrays terrible kink practices including a lack of safe words and informed consent. Very irresponsible given the amount of mis and disinformation already out there. The poly aspect is incredibly forced especially with one character (it's giving lack of consent ick). The one queer relationship read more like two straight bros complete with a very 'no homo' attitude from one in particular
Compton can't be into any other man but Sanford, he's a 'special' case

Add on unrealistic sex, horrifically unethical practice by a medical professional, unchecked workplace sexual harrassment, domestic violence red flags, a disabled character whose disability is completely forgotten/ignored until it's used as a plot device, and cringy turns of phrase and love confessions and I just can't recommend this to anyone. Stay away, there's so many better stories.

📝 Okay so this book was super long but it makes sense that it is? It's a why choose with 1 FMC and 3 MMC's, and we get POVs from all four of them. And the book doesn't end when they all get together, it actually spends a good amount of time grappling with what it would mean for famous-ish people to be poly.

🎧 The narration for these characters was really good and nuanced overall. There was one thing that kinda bugged me with one of the narrators, but I was able to look past it after a bit. They did a good job with the sexual tension and the sexytimes, as well as the "normal" thoughts and feelings.

🌶️ 5/5. There is no other way to rate this book... It was chock full of hot sex. Like almost all the possible configurations of the four of them happen, there's a ton of fun and playfulness, there's a little bit of kinky stuff. And there was just a lot of sexy scenes 😆

🏳️‍🌈✊ It's a foursome (MFMM), so there's straight, bi, and queer rep amongst the MCs. As for other forms of diversity, there were one or two side characters that were explicitly not white but they barely get any page time. Even class-wise, 3/4 of them are like mega rich, there's really not a lot of diversity besides sexuality. But you can't be everything for everyone all at once. It's good at what it is.

I know nothing about hockey. I don't care about hockey. But when a book is this full of MMF+M spicy scenes, I'll read a book about hockey.
Rachel was sweet, had a sensitive side, but was strong and sexy too.
The guys were a perfect blend of everything you want in a man. And there are 3 of them. She has 3 holes so it works out perfectly.
The sex was hot and the scenes were varied. It wasn't 750 pages of the same thing over and over.
This book has been recommended in so many book groups, and I'm glad I finally got to it. Fun summer read 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Edit. The audio is pretty bad. Amy Hall has this halting delivery, Ash Beverly forgets he is supposed to be Finnish, and Alex Kydd has this odd chuckle that he does. It really was hard to listen to.

When I started this book I thought it would end a five star. It did not. This book dragged on and dragged on and then became unrealistic. She said this dude was her soulmate and love of her life but by the end of the book she was hardly speaking to him. It was just bonkers and felt like word vomit at the end.
