Short and not the worst of hers I've read, altho v horrifying that it opens with our heroine breaking into a stranger's room -- without his permission -- to seduce him, on a dare. A friend switches the key so our heroine gets with her love interest, but it's still a creepy and problematic opening that made me uncomfortable. As with her other books, Bailey does well in creating characters with flaws that are grounded and realistic. Despite the short length of this book, the chemistry and interactions between our two MC felt authentic. The secondary characters -- stars of forthcoming books -- took up a lot of time, and I found their stories confusing and pointless.

This is book 2 in a series that was started by other authors idk i'm a big confused but I had no problem following the story, it was good especially the sexy parts really hot and even though this wasn't a five stars read for me I will continue to read Tessa Bailey's books.

The second book in the Wedding Dare series, and I came to this series as I try to read through a whole lot of Tessa Bailey books so I was excited to read her instalment.

It wasn’t quite up to the usual complexity and intensity that TB usually brings to the party, so I wonder if this was an earlier stage in her writing.

The characters were interesting, and they did have chemistry, which was great. I did struggle with Reed a bit in terms of liking him, and Julie just made me feel tired with all of her energy.

This was decent, but not as good as other TB books I’ve read.
