I had such high expectations for this book given its notoriety. I was bitterly disappointed to find what seems like a half finished story with lackluster characters. Honestly, had it been any longer I doubt I would have finished. Terrible read, style was not even good enough to save this pathetic excuse of a story line and superficial exploration of race relations and basic human instincts.
