The writing is a bit congested and clunky, but I’ll attribute that to english not being Conrad’s first language. The themes in this book make it kind of hard to read but the symbolism is fantastic.

First time I read it, I was struggling through all the way and really just gave up. The second time I still struggled but I appreciated it more. However, it is a dense read and is not for the faint-hearted.
