I have had this on my TBR for so long and it didn’t disappoint. It was twisty, interesting, and emotional. I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this novel but the ending felt anticlimactic to me. The author could have explore the dangers of Claire and Dex meeting. Outside of that, the character development was great. I really enjoy when authors give the meat of a main characters background, were you can understand why the characters make the choices they have made or will make.

I was rooting for both Claire and Eva. I was at the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen with Claire. For some reason Eva’s character pulled at my heartstrings more. I just wanted her to get peace and relax. I loved her relationship with her neighbor. I like how there was a little twist in there that brought these two characters relationship full circle.

A predictable easy read about a not easy to read subject. There was only one time I thought there might be a twist but it was a false alarm. Maybe I was expecting too much but I was a little disappointed.
