I was hoping for a story more similar to the first book where we are following a very relatable character as she adjusted to a quiet life helping run a bookshop and getting it ready for Christmas.
But since our FMC found a fella in the first one she just spent the first 30 min whining about him not sleeping with her. No thank you, hard pass.

2/5 stars - Second in the series and kind of a dud. The Carmen/Oke storyline felt stretched thin, and I'll admit that once Carmen wasn't in the house anymore dealing with her nieces and Sofia the whole time, it got pretty boring.
