Loved reading this book, lovely to catch up with Sofia and the gang back up in Scotland. Amazing book once again from Jenny colgan.

To be perfectly honest, I liked book one a lot better. It felt way more Christmas-y, especially because the first half of this book doesn't even take place in December. I'm happy I finished the series, however, if there's another one... I can't say if I'd pick it up. 

The plot wasn't as interesting, and the romantic conflict felt... I don't know. Unneeded mostly. And I wish that the author just went about it in a different way.

The actual break up made sense, but the resolution felt convenient. They didn't talk for nearly a year and then just get back together because they're still in love.

I don't think that's satisfying at all. 

I did enjoy the story though, especially the kids. They were really fun and probably my favourite part of this book. Overall, I may reread book one for the Christmas atmosphere at some point again, but not this one.

It felt like a hallmark movie in a book. But it lacked the oomph. Just something was missing.
Everything was a tad too obvious.
It was a nice read but that was it.
