3.43 AVERAGE

Maybe leaning toward 2.5? Disappointing as I’ve liked other books in her bookshop series.

A book lovers book. The Christmas bookshop sounds like my ideal place. A little Bridget Jones meets A Hand Full of Dust (just kidding). Slow start, but it pulls you in in the end.

The second book in a new series. Looking forward to more!

A follow up to the Christmas bookship, this book was a wonderful read on a terrible day.   In some ways it reminded me of a Sarah Morgan Christmas book in that the setting was as much of a character in the book as the people.  The romance was a bit light, but that's not why you read this type of book anyway.  I loved the relationship between the heroine and her family as well as the owner of the books store.

This was a super cute book- while the main character can be hard headed, the array of supporting characters and growth in Carmen are always heartwarming.
