Ask for Andrea’s plot wasn’t novel by any means, but Ihli’s addition of the supernatural was unique. The writing was average to slightly above, it moved at a good pace, and the ending was satisfying (and tied the title in - I was wondering how it fit!).

Gripping, gutting, and gloriously unique
Ask for Andrea hooked me from the first page and refused to let go. Told from the perspectives of three women murdered by the same man, the story unfolds in a chilling liminal space as Brecia, Meghan, and Skye piece together what happened to them and try to prevent it from happening to anyone else.
The concept is incredibly original, and the writing is sharp and emotionally raw. The author captures each woman’s grief, rage, and confusion with devastating clarity, and their connection builds into something powerful and heartbreaking. The horror here is grounded in reality, but it never feels gratuitous. It's a story of reclamation and resistance.
The emotional impact is what stayed with me most. I raced through the pages, heart in my throat, hoping for justice even in the afterlife. If you're into emotionally charged thrillers with a supernatural twist and high stakes, this one delivers.
