Not sure why I put this one off for so long. I loved it. Like Beauty and the Beast, but with Faeries.
I have long avoided this book because I was worried it wouldn’t live up to the hype, but I loved it! I wouldn’t say it’s the best writing in the world, but definitely a compelling story.

Okay, I read this one because a kiddo asked me to. It wasn’t generally on my TBR, and I might have started out biased. However, putting aside the author, every single character was unlikeable. I truly don’t understand the hype. How is everyone falling in love with the people they treat like absolute shit? And with the people who treat them like shit. The Stockholm syndrome really runs rampant in this one.
