Just a bunch of lists of 80s references. It certainly WANTS to comment on internet culture and being chronically online, but its desire to say something on this subject slowly wanes until you're unsure what its stance is.
That being said, I found the writing easy to get through, and the story was pretty entertaining. I'd be lying if I said the references weren't at least a little fun to read. My sister loves this book a lot and I can see why, I'm just not a fan of it myself.

Giving this book the highest score it will allow, would rate it higher if I could. One of the best and most engaging books I’ve read in years. Highly recommend the audiobook.
