So far I’ve read four short stories from the book namely, A scandal in Bohemia, Red headed League, A case of Identity and Boscombe Valley Mystery. All of them I was able to predict. I don’t know what the fuss is about, this book is a mid. Narration is boring, he said this then i said that and then i was amazed. It has no flow. Description are dull. As much as I’d like to finish this book hoping that it might get interesting at some point, I just don’t wanna waste my time on it anymore. I believe this book is overrated.

This is one of those childhood favourites. Pitting my wits as I raced against Holmes to solve his cases made me smarter and a better thinker. It's a fun read.

A Scandal in Bohemia: 5/5
The Red Headed League: 4/5
A Case of Identity: 4.5/5
The Boscombe Valley Mystery: 2.5/5
The Five Orange Pips: 3/5
The Man with the Twisted Lip: 4/5
The Blue Carbuncle: 4/5
The Speckled Band: 4.5/5
The Engineers Thumb: 5/5
The Noble Bachelor: 4/5
The Beryl Coronet: 4.5/5
The Copper Beeches 4.5/5
Total: 4.125/5
A good collection of Sherlock Holmes stories that capture the wonderful way in which Holmes can take ordinary and/or outrageous stories and come to clear answers because of the smallest details. Not as interesting to me as the full novels because they lack the mystery/thriller climax and realization that I enjoy in full length mystery novels. Rather these stories set the premise and then in the last page Holmes clears up what actually had happened. Still good nonetheless.
