This was a fascinating read and covers an interesting niche in books that hasn't been touched on before. I learnt a lot on the complexities and the art of conducting an orchestra from this book. It also greatly increased the amount of detail that I pay attention to while listening to music. I wouldn't recommend it to people who don't usually listen to classical music.

Finishing this book was like waking up from a dream you know for sure was pleasant but that you only remember snippets of. I can’t wait to reread it!
