Luc is furious when his football coach orders him to take a dance class in order to stay on the football team. Luc is already busy with school and helping with his family's landscaping business. But he wants to make football a career, so he signs up for a class. At first he struggles and is shocked to realize how difficult it is and how much his body hurts afterwards - but then, he starts to like it!

I liked how well-rounded his life and family were depicted. That doesn't usually happen in hi-lo books because of lack of space, but this is well-done.

I really enjoyed this novella. I felt just as lost as Luc when all the dance terms were being flung around and he just couldn't keep up and his huge fight with his dad. Very realistic.

But I think the ending was a bit rushed. Just as he was starting to get the hang of things, he has to take a few weeks off, then all of a sudden, he is ready to perform the showcase. I just wanted a bit more of a transition because he was Horrible at the start.

Definitely going to see what else I can find by this author!
