To be honest, it was a drag reading this book. For one thing, the action that the book fortunately did have wasn't interesting and very cheesy. Also, the whole thing where Beatrice dies didn't go well with the story to me. I expected her to win in the end (since she's the main character). I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone who expects a groundbreaking ending to the Divergent series.
I have been so disappointed with this series over the last year. I never grew to like any of the characters and I found the story line to be really predictable. That being said, we'll see how the movie is next year for Divergent. Maybe it'll change my mind. But the ending to Allegiant felt like a really cheap move so that Roth didn't have to actually finish the book.

Loved this book. A satisfying end to the trilogy, although I thought that Tris' death was too quick. Usually when a death occurs it is described in more detail. Tobias' reaction gives a feeling of hollow happiness (hopefully you know what hat means). Overall, a great read!

Yeah girl I ate this up, who cares?
I think this was a good end. Sad, yes. But it made sense.

Tris's death/sacrifice made so much sense. I wasn't even surprised when it happened because that's so in tune with her character. RIP Queen.
I enjoyed it but not quite as much as the first two books in the series. The book has good messages throughout, but I'm still kind of turned off by the ending. Still, overall a good series that I certainly did not regret reading.
dumpster fire of a book. the conflict doesnt make sense. the character motives dont make sense. the deaths either dont make sense or you cant force yourself to care. what even was this plot? it all sits in my memory like an amorphous pile of goo. like what even happened? what didnt happen? not to mention the death of tris the FMC at the end. didnt make sense. at all. i dont mind main character death if it means something and makes sense in the context of the plot and character development, but it literally made no sense to me. horrible way to end the series. divergent was good, insurgent was meh at best, and this was just awful lmao. don’t recommend.
Shouldn't have finished this series. I like divergent, but all went downhill from that.
