Graphic: Gun violence, Sexual assault
Minor: Suicide
I felt there was good character development, although Pip has so many of her original qualities she has changed so much through what has happened ed to her. This book didn't pretend that she just dealt with it all easily and moved on the same girl as before, which I think a lot of books do.
I feel a little funny about Ravi being in his 20s and Pip still in school, Yes they are sweet but I think this is a bad think to make seem okay.
There were quite a few parts that were almost forgotten about towards the end and while I know this is a trilogy, I do feel some things should have been wrapped up better.
Another mystery that I didn't guess the ending of from the start so I enjoyed this.

My only recommendation is to read the novella, Kill Joy, because you get to know Jaime in there and you don't get to see his character much or it all in the first book.
