Very gripping although I would've enjoyed a more complex dive into certain ethical topics and questions but the story itself was very tense and well written

I really loved A Good Girl’s Guide to murder.  And I was quite happy to return to Pip and a mystery.
Nit this book, while as addicting ended up much darker.

Parts of this story continue on from book one, like the trial of Max Hastings, but obviously some is very new. 

Please do tread carefully if you found book one and Max Hastings difficult to stomach.

I rated this book lower, because I found it harder to stomach, but that’s completely personal opinion.

These books... are just so good. I probably liked this slightly less than the first one but it's still really good! I loved seeing how things in the first book that I didn't think about are somehow connected to the mystery in this book. Holly Jackson's mind is insane.
