First of all, I sobbed. Hard. The tragedy of it all. I feel bereft.

This one was a little slower for me but I was still very much hooked. I'm glad to have the e-book and the audio especially for when I'm too impatient to just listen. I had the same issues as before with wishing we got the full cast consistently with the audio but I do love the podcast sections when we get the full cast of voices.

They were barely in it and thankfully because Lauren and Ant irritated the fuck out of me.

I enjoyed seeing Pip lose and find herself. I think Ravi and Pip are very cute together and I love both characters but honestly so often I wasn't feeling them as a couple. There's some disconnect or a forced feeling? I dunno. But they are cute together.

I enjoy the other characters and the different dynamics and growth we see.

I can't say I had it figured out early and actually I thought it was going to go different way, however, there's a certain character who just gave me a bad feeling and turns out I was right.

I still believe there's a sort of Pretty Little Liars suspension of belief here which I don't mind. It's not as chaotic as PLL but it's there but damn I wish the author would have stretched it a little further so I didn't have my heart punched around at the end.

I actually liked the ending of this book more than I liked the ending of the first book. I thought that the ending was more believable. I also enjoyed how the book delved more into the relationship dynamics and trauma that Pip is experiencing. My one complaint is that there were a few too many characters; I was really confused at the beginning of the book trying to figure out who was who.

Before I read the 3rd book, I always thought that the 2nd book was like a filler story. I didn't quite catch the relevance of this story at first, but now I know that this story was needed for the development of the main characters. I was fine, but I still feel like this is a filler story. Tho it made the 3rd book great.

I also hated how Max Hastings was said not guilty in this book. It made me stop reading it for days because I was so furious. The 3rd book brought justice to him tho.

This book was probably my least favourite in the series but was definitely worth reading. Make sure you read Good Girl , Bad Blood before reading As Good As Dead, otherwise you won’t understand many references in As Good As Dead.
