The 2nd book of the series and I loved it even more. This was felt a lot more personal because of the relationships that you learned in the first book. You are taking on the roller coaster of the characters emotions. I definitely cried a few times… love the series.

I will admit that, at the start, I wasn’t as hooked in this book as I was in the first. However, Holly Jackson’s characters are so deep and developed they practically jump off the page and draw you in. Pip’s development definitely kept me invested and as the mystery starts to unravel, I couldn’t put it down.

the first book in this series is my favorite book and this one did not disappoint either. Pippa is thrown back into detective work and this time its almost more emotional. (i did cry through the entirety of the last 3 chapters)

Ravi’s character is still hollow. The dialogue is kind of painful at times but not to the point I can’t look past it. Holly Jackson is a great writer. The plot is very well constructed and realistic enough. The last few chapters were amazing. This book is very enjoyable and hard to put down.
