This was good. Incredibly quick read.
I liked the idea of the podcast and Pips relationship with Ravi and Connor.

I was glad that
someone (here Ant and Laura) were suspicious of the timing and thinking it was staged
because that needed to be acknowledged.
Also the missing person instead of murder mystery was nice.
As with the first book I enjoyed the different mediums.

The ending though? Let’s talk about that.
An ending (especially for a crime/mystery novel) is what makes or breaks a book and the ending of this wasn’t.. great.
Don’t get me wrong, I think it was interesting and it made me cry and I liked the little exploration of trauma after but was it good? Not really.

You’re supposed to be able to kinda piece together yourself who it was and why and everything, or at least, when you find out realise how much that clicks. But it didn’t. I guess there was a little foreshadowing there but not nearly enough for the turn this took.

We were like 90% in when the possible motive was introduced and there was just no way in hell anyone could’ve guessed that and that sucks.

Still had a fun time though.

I couldn’t put this book down. i love the writing so much, the dialogue always feels so natural. i’m obsessed with Ravi and his sense of humour and i really hope that him and Pippa stay together forever.
i also really liked how things from the first book were brought into this one (eg. Howie and Stanley’s exchange in the car park) because i had completely forgotten about things like that so it was cool to see it be explained here. it just shows how much thought Holly Jackson has put into this trilogy and i can’t wait to read the next book!

No spoilers. Read via physical.

I am really enjoying this series, and surprisingly this book was even better than the first one. This one did not disappoint, and had the same great twists and turns. I did not want to put this book down, I wanted to binge it so badly, dislike adulting. I love the podcast aspect of this as well. I love how the characters continue to grow through these books.

Would I recommend? Yes, keep going on with this series.

I hope we get a second season of AGGGTM show with this book!

Wow. I figured it out before it was revealed. But wow. Please pause while my brain buffers. Well done Holly Jackson

I think this was better than the first! Then again, isn’t that the case? Was not expecting Stanley to be a bad guy—he has changed since the beginning. Also, what is the deal with people getting concussions and either getting killed or being kidnapped because of the person who inflicted their injury risk getting into trouble?

Otherwise, loved Pip even more but felt horrible with how she watched Charlie kill Stanley. The gun is haunting her and she can’t get it out of her head. Damn.
