WHAT DID I JUST READ??
For some reason I liked this one more than I did the first one, but maybe it’s because I wasn’t as engaged in the story as I was with this one.

I'm AMAZED by this book. I had so many emotions throughout this book, I laughed, cried and everything in between. Imo this book is even better than the first one, I LOVED it ❤️

(Re-read) An absolute banger. Since the first book was supposed to be a standalone, the mystery in this one feels a little bit ad-hoc, not as richly woven into the history of Little Kilton as the first one, and yet I still loved it. It sets up the 3rd book, which is one of my favourite books of all time, so perfectly. This series has my whole heart, my undivided attention, and all my love

Ich habe die ganze Zeit mitspekuliert und lag sogar nicht falsch. Nichtsdestotrotz habe ich das Ende so nicht erwartet. Ich liebe die Entwicklung der Dynamik der Figuren und hoffe sehr, dass sie sich von

Ant

abwendet. So verhält man sich einfach nicht, selbst, wenn man

in einer Beziehung ist. Gleiches gilt für Laura.

Ich bin gespannt, wie Pip mit der wahrscheinlich PTBS umgeht und hoffe, sie reitet sich im nächsten Band nicht zu sehr in die Gefahr und sabotiert ihre Zukunftspläne.

Was ich jedoch von Pip etwas fragwürdig finde, ist die Tatsache, dass sie in ihrem Podcast stets ihren Ermittlungsstand bekanntgibt, obwohl sie so dem Täter natürlich ermöglich, entsprechend zu reagieren.

In wiefern wird Max eine Rolle spielen? Kriegt er doch noch seine gerechte Strafe?

Ich fürchte, dass es noch Stress in der Beziehung zu Ravi geben wird, den Pip zu verantworten hat.
Ab geht‘s zum nächsten Band!
