Mexican Gothic was not what I thought it was going to be, but it was a fantastic read nonetheless. Things happened in this book that I did not see coming, and I really enjoyed it. I do have to say it was really slow and then picked up the pace at the end so some people might find it hard to read if they like more fast paced books. Also there are parts in this book that people might find gross, but I didn't think it was to bad.

This had so much potential but ultimately stay only on that...potential.
Everything is surface level characters and plot, romance is without chemistry and reveal is so dumb.
Beautiful cover but also this book could be set anywhere.
