Too much filler and too much details of nonsensical things.
EVERYTHING is detailed out. Every piece of food, drink, furniture and decor. Only the ship itself was left without much details.
The characters are stiff and generic. The only one that caught my interest a bit was the gay mate....

It was a good plot idea but it was a bit boring, details of foods, clothing, decor, the author was trying to point out the differences particularly the poverty but I got a bit bored.
