Shit. This series was so good. Ariana Nash - you have my heart. Can’t wait to read everything you have ever written and continue to write.
I just. I have no words. I’m so sad it’s over. I’m going to hold Nikolas and Vasili’s love close to my aching heart.

They got what they wanted, in the end, and I'm happy about it.
It was an interesting trilogy with its fair share of dark, although not as much as I expected.
Finally we see who the real Vasili is, even if we see some fragments of it during the trilogy. He deserves to be happy.
As for Niko, he's surprising and very strong, with his friends - or unusual allies - he manages to do what he had to and to do what he wanted to.

Ariana Nash is a Master of Fantasy. Nikolas and Vasili conspire to tear your heart apart and reassemble it in this final installment of the Prince's Assassin. . She builds a world that draws you into the story and captivates you from Day One. I enjoyed rooting for Vasili and Niko through their travails while my feelings ran the gamut. I couldn't help but admire Niko's drive to do the right thing, and his desire to protect Vasili at all cost. I laughed, I cried, I despaired, I hoped. The boys did not let me down and neither did Ariana Nash.

A decent resolution to the trilogy. Unfortunately, I wasn’t quite able to pick my enthusiasm back up after it slumped during the previous book, and read this one sort of mechanically. I just felt like something was missing. The characters were constantly moving and fighting, but there wasn’t enough time to actually stop and process what was happening.
