Read this to the kids, and how they begged to read on after Peterson leaves you hanging at the end of each chapter. A fun read that motivated my oldest to pick up the two sequels that follow this one.

Listened to this one. A fun story - a bit cliche, but with enough twists that it wasn’t too predictable. Might end up reading the next few.

Great for kids getting a bit too old for Redwall, or fans of the Warrior books.

The Wingfeather Saga was recommended to me by a friend so I was happy to pick this up. The gorgeous new cover had been telling me to take it home already anyway, so...

It took me a little while to get into this one, though that may be because I had too many books on the go already. But I could not put it down once I focused a wee bit more.

The pacing is super fast, but somehow you still get to know the main characters enough to believe in them. You even despise the villains. I liked the worldbuilding quite a lot, loved the ongoing character development, and have the second book ready and waiting for me already. Excited to see where it goes!

Lizard ruling class that kidnaps children? Y’all come on. I think someone on here said they’re vampires too??? Seriously.

This is such an underrated book! I was surprised that I’d never heard of this book before. It was funny and heartfelt. It is beautifully written. Great story.
