Un coup de coeur pour cette série en cinq tomes chez Akata. Ça traite du deuil, du suicide, de l'amitié... J'ai vraiment adoré.

I really liked this! While this series contains some very heavy topics, I thought they were handled pretty well for the most part. I liked that the whole cast of characters felt important and they all reacted differently and had their own struggles. While I think the focus was on what all of them could do to change the future and what impact small actions and words can have, I hated the importance of the "the partner has to MAKE the other person happy or they'll hurt themselves" storyline. I wish we would have gotten a bit more insight into how that affects Naho and how the others could support her with that. . However, many other things were handled really well. I liked the storytelling and the interweaving of the two timelines. The beautiful and clean art style with very expressive character design is a great fit to the story.
El estrés que pasé leyendo este volumen no tiene nombre. Sin dudas fue una historia que logró conmoverme y me alegro mucho de haberla leído.
No se si filosoficamente estoy del todo de acuerdo con el mensaje final que transmite, pero debo admitir que me encariñe mucho con los personajes y estoy satisfecha con el final.

J'ai découvert ce manga pendant un reading challenge et j'ai commencé le lire sans trop savoir de quoi ça parle... J'ai adoré cette saga, j'ai pleuré, j'ai espéré, j'étais contente, j'étais triste, j'ai traversé tous les états. Mais j'ai adoré et je trouve que la fin est parfait!

Por fin pude llorar y sacarme este peso de encima. Siento que a través de las reseñas que hice de cada tomo se entiende muy bien lo mucho que amé esta historia.
A veces agradezco que los autores me hagan llorar y en otras simplemente lo odio, ¿por qué tener que construir todo un escenario donde hacer que los conflictos reales se representen con la función de hacer sufrir a otros? Creo que lo único que se me pasa por la mente es que a veces es importante darle una dimensión emocional a las problemáticas que solemos tratar muy friamente. En ciertas circunstancias esa es la única manera de generar un impacto real en la gente.
Me voy con esta idea sobre el poder que tienen las acciones y las palabras sobre la vida de un otro, si bien a veces no tenemos el completo control de la situación podemos intentar ser cuidadosos... y eso sólo lo conseguimos siendo perceptivos, abriéndonos a ver a los demás más allá de nosostros mismos.

This is a very optimistic wrap-up to a story that didn't feel as optimistic throughout - and while this somewhat bothered me immediately after I wrapped up the story, by now I think it's the only ending you could put to this story without losing the important messages and beautiful nuances strewn throughout.
I am very very content with this ending - and loved the additional sixth one.
