I was told this book was amazing...
Ehhh! I wouldn’t say so. At parts I found it very hard to stay with the story because of how it was written. I feel as though the author blabbed way to much and ended up loosing me. Sometimes I had to go back and re read pages because I couldn’t figure out what happened because of the wording.
It was a good story but I’ll likely never read this series again after I finish manwhore +1

Katy! Why did you leave me hanging like that? I really appreciate that you write male characters (finally someone did it) that actually need MORE because they are the ones that feel undeserving. Beautiful new series. On to Manwhore +1.

I'm not sure how many stars I should give this book, TBH. I enjoyed it, but it's not something that is going to be ingrained in my memory for years to come. Until the last 50 pages of the book, I was not really hooked and the book just felt like many other adult/new-adult books I've read.

I was expecting a whole lotta "manwhoring" in this book. However, Saint turns out to be a giant puppy with the personality of a rock. Yes, we get it, he's hot. He's massive. But other than that he has no other qualities! Apart from the obvious fact that he's rich, of course.

I don't know, I will propably write a more coherent review when I know what to think of this. In the meantime, I'm reading the second book because this one ended with a effing cliffhanger that definitely will leave you wanting more.

I am trying to remember Saint's full name without checking so here it goes... Malcolm Kent Jacob Eric Saint?

I can't confirm until I submit this review, hoping I am close!

Why does he have so many names? I skimmed about halfway so I don't know if that was addressed. The reason I skimmed was mostly because of Rachel. One single POV and it was lackluster and one-dimensional, couldn't connect with her at all. Plus, nothing exciting was happening. It was boring. I even skimmed their makeout sessions which were unnecessarily long? I don't think I've seen kissing scenes so dragged out before.

Saint was kind of interesting, only because he is nothing like the title or synopsis suggests. I was left scratching my head. I thought he was respectful on their first encounter and how he treated his staff was really nice, patient as he pursued Rachel, I didn't read his pursuing to be aggresive, he was sweet, maybe he stared a little too much and needed more depth if I'm needing to add some negative. I wish we could've seen inside his head and to know how he fell for Rachel. I'm sure it was a little more deeper than the fact he liked it when she blushed. And being in her head, I can't see how he fell for her, much less stay in love well into the second part. Apparently he quickly forgives her wrongdoings.

Lastly here, it didn't need to be split into two parts. This book is several years old but unfortunately, we're still seeing authors drag the story into more than one book when it's not needed. Oh well.

Nothing special. Just your typical predictable New Adult novel. Originally I loved what I read of the sample from iBooks, the main character was feisty and would do anything to further her career but in a professional and classy way. However, she kind of lost herself throughout the book and that didn't sit well for me.

NEVER change yourself for a man.
