Amélie Nothomb ci regala un’altra storia pazzesca, inverosimile e probabile, coinvolgente e fastidiosa, assurda e plausibile, tenera e crudele, abbagliante e oscura.

The writing of Amelie Nothomb is memorable and hauntingly beautiful. The story of what happens when a young couple hosts a strange next door neighbor unfolds in a subtle and lovely way. There's something that speaks to your soul as you read through the pages. I wish there were more works from this author, as her talent needs to be spread around.
