Two words: self awareness.

With the help of Fukiishi, Seiichi seems to be gathering strength to break free from his mother, to acknowledge how she messed him up and most importantly, to come begin to come into his own. He's had bursts of fighting back in the past, but at this moment, Seiichi feels much stronger in his conviction. He won't be getting any help from his father, who doesn't seem to know what to do, least of all follow through with a divorce. Seiichi tells him he wants to be rid of his mother and at the first opportunity to go out on his own.

What about Seiko's confession that she pushed Shige off the cliff because in that moment she thought he was Seiichi? A true admittance or is she playing more mind games? Does she find this is what solidarity is by making her child be a miserable fucked up person by her side? I liked the ending of this volume as Seiichi gets all this emotions, questions and thoughts out into the open. He feels more aware than he's ever been, and I do think part of that is because of Fukiishi. Without his mother to make him doubt his own feelings, he is able to see how fucked the situation is, especially with Fukiishi's outside perspective.

But this is only the beginning. What will it take for Seiichi to break free from Mother?

the fact that seiko imagined shigeru was sei when she pushed him off the cliff is insane, like that’s your son. and sei rightfully disowning seiko was frankly deserved.

I’m obsessed with this series so much! My jaw was on the floor the whole time every single volume is wilder and wilder than the last one. This is exactly everything that I could and couldn’t even imagine, such a perfect addition to this series!
I am terrified and terribly excited about the next two volumes that awaits me, and after that I can’t even imagine how I’ll be able to wait for the 13th volume to come out, I already preordered it!

Now that the story is sort of "resolved" we have what's possibly the most calm part of the manga so far. Calm should also go in quotation marks. This is not a calm manga lmao.

The story sequence is a bit too much for me but I kinda see it. Let's see how it evolves...
