This chaste Christian women's romance novel addresses learning to love again after grief, looking at the subject from the prospective of a grieving mother, a grieving husband, a grieving woman who lost many family members, and two grieving children. Despite the heavy subject, the book itself doesn't feel enmeshed in grief, but stuck instead in protective decisions. It still felt rather light.
The romance is careful, with only a few stolen moments. It's not your typical slow burn, but instead is a mutual agreement of pursuit.
The faith elements are integral to the plot.
Like the rest of the series, the charactersmarry quickly in the end.
While this is part of a series, each book stands alone. Characters from other books make cameo appearances at town events with no mention of their backstories.

Fun, light well written Christian romance. Nice break from some heavier books. Just what I needed during quarantine.
This may be my favorite book in the Hope Harbor series so far! SO GOOD.
Entirely loved Logan's and Jeannette's stories, both separately and together; also particularly appreciated Charley (even more than I already do/have in other books in the series), especially that he's a single/unmarried character in a later-ish stage of life. That really resonated with me.

Great story with a few unexpected twists and turns. I laughed and I cried. A great quick read!

Another quick read. This book wasn't as good as some of her others.
Sweet, slow-paced while still being interesting. Would have liked a tad bit more romance, but sweet story!
