I loved the Twisted saga and it made me get into the author's universe. And although I really wanted to love this book as much as the others, it felt very different.
I don't know if it's because I couldn't get attached to the characters, their motivations and desires, but I felt them too distant and to a certain extent too unreal. Compared to the girls in Twisted, their thoughts and desires were something you could identify with and this was not the case for me with Vivian or Dante.
Anyway, of course I'm going to read the next books and I hope they are better than this one.

I am OBSESSED! This is my second time reading this author and she does not disappoint. I loved the story, the characters, the spice. Everything was presented in an equally desired way. One thing I love about her writing is that it is very clearly written for adults with the language and the messages. It feels mature without being boring. I can’t wait to continue the Kings of Sin series!

this is a very standard ana huang book. i feel like it kind of gives off twisted love vibes but a little more mature. i do like the fmc and the mmc but the plot is a little lackluster. i will be reading king of pride because kai was lowkey the highlight of this book.
