Ana’s books have a format, a special recipe, key elements - whatever you want to call it. AND IT WORKS, okay? You know from the beginning what you’re gonna get and she always gives her characters a HEA, no matter what she puts them through.

Ana had me laughing, smiling, swooning, and curling my toes. The romance was delicious, the tension there to build up the slow burn, the anticipation and the jealousy were spot on.
Dante delivered the “Touch her and you die” TWICE and it made me feral.
Christian and Stella make a surprise appearance and I loved that, especially since it was linked to a line that Christian said in Twisted Lies. I liked how that came back full circle, and with one scene basically, Ana turned both men into what we like to see: men that would do anything to protect the woman they love. This man can dirty talk like it’s his bread and butter! Every time Dante said “Mia cara” I swooned so hard I thought I need to sign my boyfriend up for Italian lessons. Just throwing this out there, ya know?
Vivian was real, she was the kind of character you root for. Rich but still hard-working, smart but humble, compassionate and strong, she was very likeable. Her likes and dislikes are clearly established which made her a multi-faceted character and really, that’s all I ever wish for.
I liked that she was sassy and smart, that she got to grow out of her self-imposed shell with Dante and that he got to rile her up so well. There was character development for both of them. Dante learned how to share his space, plan dates, show his feelings and sacrifice things for love. He grovelled, he put effort into getting Vivian back and I think that was very important for their story.

It felt a little long and the timeline felt so fast to me but I enjoyed especially when I read it after reading back to back fantasy books
