Good ending

This was a good ending to the story! I loved the taboo of the books, though this one was less of that taboo and angst, and more of the HEA buildup. I did not want this story to end. Giana Darling made me fall in love with these two characters and I seriously hope we can get some insight into their life again sometime down the road.

On one hand I was excited to read this book, and on the other I was sad to let Sin and Elle go.

This was everything I wanted in a conclusion and more. After the cliffhanger in book two, I was really interested to see where Darling was going to take my favourite couple, but I wasn't ready for the twists and turns she was going to throw at me. With romance, drama, sex, deception, violence and more, The Consequence is a fast paced wrap up of Sin and Elle's love story.

If you don't mind a little erotica in your books, I really do suggest picking this up. The sex in this, while explicit, really isn't the main focus of these books; it is the witty and complex relationship between Sin and Elle that you keep coming back for.

Again, I am just blown away by the ending of this series and the incredible love of Sin and Elle. I have fallen in love even further with these characters and it was also so nice to see Cosima and Alexander again after I have read the Enslaved duett. I loved the bonus content and the bonus epilogue just hit me completely in the feels and I was sobbing happy tears and now I am even more hyped for the Anti-Heroes in love duett.

I found that it was a very good conclusion to the series and I cannot wait to see more glimpses into their lives when the story of Elle's siblings are discussed.

"Your body is a compass and I am your true north"

After pissing me off a time or 2 in The Secret, Sinclair became just about the sweetest most romantic guy I have read about in a long time. He always seemed to say the right thing to make Giselle feel better. By the end I was shedding some serious tears (and that was when I was in my car before work in the morning.... I'm sure my coworkers were very curious!) Giselle and Sinclair have that love that seems to only get stronger the more they go through. They didn't have it easy!
This is absolutely a story that I think everyone should read.

I loved the first book and didn't like the second. But I think this book closed out the series perfectly. This is my first series in a long time and the fact that I didn't hate it surprised me. I don't usually like books that take 3 whole books for the two characters to get together (the only series I liked like that was the off-balance series.) So this was a refreshing read! I would recommend this specifically to someone who wants an affair trope!

This is an emotional journey. This story deals with the emotional fallout of the Affair that Elle and Sinclair have. This is also about them coming together as a couple and finding their place.

Again Giana will take you on an emotional journey. You will feel all different types of emotions. You will laugh, cry, hurt and smile.

The romance is great. Both hero and heroine have to deal with the fall out and also figure out their place. It’s great to see a couple talking about their issues and seeing how a family can spilt when something like this happens.

The writing was great and even though there were typos, it didn’t effect the story or my enjoyment.

Constructive criticism wise, there was a bit of inconsistency with the time line but it didn’t really effect the story. Also the birth control bit, it just rubbed me up the wrong way.

Over all this series is an enjoyable read and this final book ties all the loose ends nicely.

We finally have a book with Sinclair’s POV and he is a psycho. And I wasn’t expecting anything different.

I really enjoyed this last book and the previous one, but I’ll wait to ready Elena’s book. I need a rest from this family.
