If I hadn’t predicted the ending it probably would have been one of the best books I’ve ever read. But unfortunately for me…I did predict the ending. However, I was still intrigued and captivated throughout the read.

Listen, I’ve read the bad reviews. I get why people are so upset with the ending & maybe I just like the theatrical, but I loved it. 

Was Louise naive? Yes. But I understood why she was made the choices she did. 

While a lot didn’t happen throughout the book besides little secrets being revealed one by one, I never felt bored. Each additional detail kept me going. 

Now that I’ve read this, I have to watch the series. I hope they did it justice.

I can't believe I'm about to say this but I predicted the end. It was ridiculous, still. While I did not enjoy the twist, the rest of the story was gripping and I devoured the book, so credit where credit is due.
I must say, though, I did not like any of the characters and somehow that ended up being the best thing about the book.
