More of a rant than a review unfortunately.

This had so much potential but just ended up disappointing. I was really enjoying this book right until the conflict started. Once it did there were just so many things about this that annoyed me. For one, the way that Lawrence was able to take Everleigh away from the house was just way too easy. Like considering everything I don't get how they didn't have better security measures. Along with that, I just really didn't care about any of the characters besides Everleigh and the alphas. My annoyance only increased when her mom was introduced. Because she was introduced to us so late in the book i just couldn't get myself to care about her. Like I get that she's Everleigh's mom and everything but I hated how she just gave up everything to be with her, even going almost no contact with the guys she was in love with. It was just so frustrating that their relationship was being dragged out for a character I just didn't care for. Also, the fact that she not only stopped speaking to her alphas but her sister??? I honestly didn't care for Della too much as a character but considering how important she was to Everleigh, I hated that she just dropped her like a hot potato for her mom who she literally just met. Idk, it just gave the impression that because her mother was her blood and Della wasn't that her mother was more important.

Also not only this. I hated the, planned reunion between Everleigh and the alphas. Like it was so stupid. Why not just have her go to the party and make an amazing impression and show off after all she'd been through. Instead she was just humiliated by some nobody who didn't even face consequences for her actions. Also. When the alphas met up with her and said they heard her call for them. Why the hell didn't they just go to her right then at the party since they heard her??? Instead they left her to go home alone humiliated. Also the fact that despite this being an omegaverse we never got to see them claim her as their omega??? Like Lawrence was dead by the end, why not have them bite her????? What kind of omegaverse.

Ugh.

i liked this book but i felt like it was incredibly long and the story was forced at times. otherwise, five stars overall

Fun, emotional, sweet. At times it was a bit to heavy on the trauma/repetitive and bad things happening to the omegas, but overall good book, well written

PHENOMENAL

The way Pack Ashe kept every promise and then some! I loved every bit of this story! Everleigh got her happy ending and so much more! I’m grateful it wasn’t too focused on babies but i wouldn’t have been upset if she did end up pregnant at the end. I loved the fact Rune, Ky, and Cian bent over backwards to make sure they set her free. Withholding the scent match from her was a major big one in my book. Letting her set the pace of their relationship was chefs kiss! The closet nest was perfection! Them finding her mom and setting them up for life had me tearing up. This was a great story and I’m glad i got to read it! I can’t wait for the 2nd book! I think I’ve found me another “if she wrote it. Then I’m reading it.” This was a phenomenal body of work!
