Fun novella
I enjoyed Anise and Kuk ‘s paranormal dating romance. The novella was the right amount of humor, sweet love and a bit of spice. Anise is a witch. Kuk is the god of darkness at dawn. They are matched to each other through the Jinx paranormal dating app. There is an instant deep connection between them online which only intensifies when they eventually meet in person. Despite being short, the writing was good, the characters were well developed, and the storyline was fun and engaging. 3.5 stars

Great story, super fast read, looking forward to reading more in the jinx series. Good laughs, great banter, horrible puns/jokes. HEA can exist. Kuk and Anise are a fun people to watch evolve into a couple. Little heat in this one, so be aware.

I found this novella through a stuff your kindle day event. I had never read anything by the author but figured why not?
It's a very short novella and I just noticed it's #3.5 in the series. You don't get much about the world you're reading about but if you just go into accepting everything for what it is, it's easy enough to follow along.

I decided to read this book as a transition from fantasy to contemporary romance, and I couldn’t have chosen a better read. This was such a cute novella that had me smiling from ear to ear all the way through while feeling my heart flutter.
