This book left me speechless. The characters are incredibly complex, and it’s nearly impossible to determine as a reader if you’ve accurately pinned down their thinking. The plot is full of dark twists and turns, but ultimately this is a novel telling of a deeply disturbed and unhealthy codependent relationship between the main characters. The author has done a brilliant job of creating a profound appreciation for both main characters, despite the negative behaviors they exhibit.

3.5... could have been 4, but the ending didn't quite work for me. I had attempted to read this before and quit before 50 pages, but this time I listened to it, and that was a game changer. Solid read overall. :)
