This was so very good. The banter. The angst. The story

Can we not get through a romance book without some depressing storyline popping up with 20% of the book to go. I’m sick of it. I wanted a cute little storyline and now I need to call my parents and tell them I love them.

I cried, I laughed, I had butterflies. it's a cute fake dating story. I wouldn't read it if you're looking for a spice book because the spice is mid but I'm giving it a 5 because it's a good book for the genre

DID NOT FINISH

DNF at page 221 … because the Dixon rule should have been no romance books can be 500 pages long

4.5 ⭐️

Do I necessarily think this book needed to be as long as it was? No, but it doesn’t matter because I LOVED THIS BOOK. I went into reading the first book because I loved Garrett and Hannah in The Deal and I wanted every breadcrumb from them I could get (trust me, I loved and stayed for Ryder and Gigi’s story), but this one—the banter that Diana and Shane had was SO FREAKING GOOD. And I loved the little snippets of characters from Off-Campus and Briar U that we got to see in this book (I’m a Dean Di Laurentis girl at heart).

Anyway, Elle Kennedy literally never misses. And I need a hockey boyfriend.
