It’s the Fourth of July and Christian wants to go see the fireworks. His boyfriend, Matt however has a different idea. He lets Chris drag him to the park to see the fireworks display but his mind is on anything but.
This is obviously a short erotic novella about an already established couple. There wasn’t much of a story told here to tell the truth. However, the fact that the actual romance between these two character actually takes place between the pages of a different, full length, book is inconsequential as this is just a short, quick glance at a day in the life of Matt and Chris. Their interactions were actually pretty adorable and made me want to get their book and read how these two individuals got together.
In my book, Fourth of July Fireworks served the purpose of capturing my attention enough that I would definitely give the first book a try. Could this be a standalone read? Sure, but you probably wouldn’t get as much enjoyment out of it unless you had read Where You Least Expect It, their story, which I plan to do soon.
