I did not know what I was getting into throughout this book's first half. I honestly felt as if I were going to DNF this book. But after I got over 50%, I really enjoyed the book! Especially near the end, you get completely sucked in. I felt like the characters developed a lot more, and the storyline developed overall.

I would say this was less like Hill House and Get Out and more like Parasite - writing a little juvenile at times but overall really compelling and well-thought out story. Just wish there was a little more resolution at the end.
