No offense to this author or the book but all the talk about the bugs was triggering me.

That was a pretty good young adult horror! 

Maaaan, the bed bugs were giving me shivers!! 😵😵‍💫 
They also served as a very good portrayal of mental health issues, paranoia, etc. 

The growing sense of dread in few scenes made this book quite scary in places. 

TDJ did a great job portraying a a racially mixed, blended family with all the dynamics of step siblings living under one roof. 

The preacher was a bit creepy and I wish this concept was explored a bit more. I felt a bit unsatisfied because I thought his speeches and tv appearance was leading to something. 

Nice twist at the end. It had been done before but I enjoyed  regardless. 

Enjoyable read via audio.

Well, dear reader, I'm sufficiently terrified. What an unbelievably well-done book. It touches on social justice as well as scaring the bejeezus out of you. Pick this up on Halloween.
