I enjoyed this one, but it wasn't my favorite.

I really liked Dustin. Olivia was just ok ... as was their chemistry.

I really like the setting in this story though. Nashville is such a gorgeous area, and I live the horse therapy.

The whodunnit and why was a bit weak though. I figured out the who the minute the character was introduced, so that was a bit frustrating throughout the book.

First Thought when Finished: Gosh darn it! I am still in love with the Krewe! The Night is Forever was an excellent addition to this series!

Read It File It: Nashville, Civil War, Hot Agent, Smart and Caring Woman, Dead General just lending a hand = one intense but sexy Krewe of Hunters book. I really liked Liv and Dustin. They each had such unique skills (which is important in this world) and could feel their connection immediately. The case was strong and the "fringe" was well placed. As always Heather just pulled me and kept me on my toes till the very end.

Audio Thoughts:
Narrated By Luke Daniels / Length: 9 hrs and 28 mins

Luke is excellent in general but the Krewe is where I fell in love with his narration style. His accents, pacing, and general "air" are perfect for this series. Another great job!

Final Thoughts: You should check out the Krewe of Hunters!

Really enjoyable addition to my comfort series! I liked the horse farm setting and the mystery kept me guessing. I love the way this series blends history, paranormal, romance and mystery all in one.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the ending though- I didn’t feel like Olivia needed to join the FBI, she was better suited for the horse farm. But oh well, that’s her algorithm I suppose 😂

4! This is the first novel in this series where I felt like it was dragging ass and just becoming too repetitive! I am over a new team every tier...I am ready for more cases with old teams or couples...or are these teams only worth three cases together. Also this murder mystery was overly predictable...Sorry Mariah saw you coming a mile away!!! Hopefully it picks up better in the next tier otherwise I may need a break from this series for awhile...

Oh, this book was fantastic! I loved the mystery, and the characters-living and ghosts! Really fantastic book and I enjoyed how it ended, ,and I can't wait to read more of this series!

Another great book in the Krewe of Hunters series. I only deducted half a star because I wish there was more involvement of the rest of the Krewe in the recent cases. It is more about the present couple than all of them. That is the only criticism I have of an otherwise amazing book. I did not figure everything out until the very end!
